Kimchi Cream Cheese Bagel

A sweet-savory, slightly spicy twist on your everyday bagel! Tangy Mother-in-Law’s kimchi gets finely chopped and mixed with creamy cheese, a drizzle of honey, fresh chives, and lightly sautéed spinach for a warm, balanced bite. Simple, comforting, and unexpectedly addictive!

 

INGREDIENTS (makes 1–2 bagels)

Kimchi Cream Cheese Spread:

  • ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons Mother¼ cup Mother-in-Law’s Original Everyday Kimchi, finely chopped and drained well
  • 1–2 teaspoons honey 
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped

Sautéed Spinach:

  • ½ cup fresh spinach
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Pinch of salt

Bagel:

  • 1–2 bagels, sliced and toasted

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat a small pan over medium heat with olive oil. Add spinach and sauté for 1–2 minutes until just wilted. Lightly season with a pinch of salt and set aside.
  2. Finely chop the kimchi and gently squeeze out excess moisture using a paper towel.
    In a bowl, combine cream cheese, chopped kimchi, honey, and chives. Mix until well blended and creamy.
  3. Toast the bagels to your desired level of crispiness.
  4. Spread the kimchi cream cheese generously over each bagel half.
  5. Top with sautéed spinach.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
